The short version: CardPerks does not collect, store, or share your personal information. You don't need an account. The cards and perks you add live only on your device. The app's single network request downloads a public list of card-reward templates — nothing about you is ever sent.
This Privacy Policy explains how the CardPerks mobile app ("the app," "we," "us," or "our"), provided by Daniele Bongiovanni, handles information. It applies to the CardPerks apps for iOS and Android and to this website.
We do not collect any personal information. CardPerks has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any financial account credentials, and the app does not request access to your contacts, photos, or device identifiers for tracking.
The app is "local-first": the credit cards, perks, notes, and preferences you enter are stored only in local storage on your device. We have no servers that receive or hold that data, and we never see it.
The following information is created and kept entirely on your device, under your control:
This data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall CardPerks. If you use your device's own backup feature (for example, iCloud or Google backup), a copy may be included in that backup under the terms of that platform — this is handled by Apple or Google, not by us.
To keep card-reward templates current, the app periodically downloads a single public file (a catalog of common card templates) from our content delivery network, hosted on Cloudflare Pages. This is an ordinary outbound request to fetch public information — it does not send any of your cards, perks, or personal data.
As with any internet request, our hosting/CDN provider (Cloudflare) may automatically process basic technical connection data such as your IP address in its server logs for security and reliability. We do not use this information to identify you, and we do not combine it with anything else. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
CardPerks relies on a small number of third parties, none of which receive personal information from the app:
CardPerks is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, no such data is gathered regardless of age.
Since your data is stored only on your device, you are in full control of it. You can remove individual cards or perks at any time, clear all app data from the app's settings, or uninstall CardPerks to delete everything associated with it.
Privacy laws such as the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) give you rights over personal information that a company holds about you. Because CardPerks does not collect or store any personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on our side — your data is already entirely in your hands on your device.
